Beautiful Sunday Evening in Lake Tahoe

As we near the end of July here in South Lake Tahoe it is a reminder to get out and enjoy these long summer days.  In yoga class at Omni  this weekend the teacher said “August 1 is coming and that means we are half way between summer and fall”.  I took it as a reminder to pack it in and just enjoy life to the fullest.  So many fun activities here in South Lake Tahoe especially in the summer.

So its almost August and time to ask yourself, “Am I taking advantage of the Tahoe summer”?  Did I ride my bike enough?  How many times have I jumped in the lake?  Have I been out on the boat?  Have I seen a summer sunset at my favorite Tahoe beach?  Have I gone to any live music shows at the Hangar?  Hike Tallac or Freel Peak yet?  Finish the summer chores house list?  (hahah that can wait).  We have so many fun options here and I hope you are taking advantage of your favorite activities.  We all have them!

Ha It’s No Wonder Why I Have Been Tired Lately

I’m up at sunrise daily and start the day with a long quiet dog walk.  Unless of course we run into some morning shenanigans which honestly is almost a daily occurence.   Cowboy and I (my 130 lb. Caucasian Shepherd) usually see bears, or coyotes or an eagle fishing at Sawmill pond-it’s always an adventure.  Mostly good ones except for the morning where he met the porcupine face to face-ouch!  After the walk it’s time to get to work at selling houses -my job as a Realtor.   This can be another adventure but thankfully 95% of the people are great to work with.  The rest of the Tahoe day is work and possibly an adventure on the bike, a yoga class or a paddle in the beautiful Lake and then some!
